ART THERAPY

Art could be a venue for all the creativity that overflows from the intense emotions and inspirations coming from an artist or a person’s own experience or imagination. It could also be used as a form of therapy since it may serve as an outlet of all the emotions, both positive and negative that has been building up inside us. Art is a boundless craft that spans across dance, paintings, songs, and the list goes on. This time we’ll focus on painting; it’s a visual activity that stimulates the vision with the colors and images in it, and it also improves eye-hand coordination.

How we see things
Things do not look the same way from person to person; a picture can send a lot of messages depending on someone’s paradigm. This brings about different results from different individuals the same goes with two works of art, one will end up different from the other.  That’s the reason why art is fun, especially when we do it in groups because it could be something to talk about.

Taking it seriously
Some maybe looking for something to stimulate the mind and provoke creativity beyond its limits and others may only be around just to have something to keep them busy with for a while. But with art therapy, either way, we still get something good out of the activity and the experience that comes along with it.

Limitless
It is impossible to put a limit on art since it’s as broad as the imagination could be. We know that our imagination knows no boundaries as it is something that is unfathomable.  We just have to enjoy the moment and let our hair down, since there could be no wrong when it comes to letting our emotions flow free as we pour our hearts out. Art therapy could be for everyone, we just have to jump in and have fun while releasing all the tension within us.
